Akufo-Addo's Inauguration - Amb. J. Peter Pham Leads U.S Presidential Delegation

The U.S President, Donald J. Trump on Tuesday announced the designation of a Presidential Delegation to attend the second inauguration of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana, on Thursday, January 7, 2021, in Accra, Ghana.

The United States Special Envoy for the Sahel Region of Africa, Honorable Dr. J. Peter Pham, Ambassador, will lead the delegation.

Ambassador J. Peter Pham is expected to arrive in Ghana from January 5 to January 8, 2021.

The delegation will include United States Ambassador to Ghana Stephanie S. Sullivan.

In addition to inauguration-related events, Ambassador Pham will participate in bilateral meetings with senior Government of Ghana officials and civil society where he will reaffirm the strong U.S.-Ghana partnership in the areas of regional peace and security, economic development, and democratic governance.
