The last game of the round 8 fixtures in the Ghana Premier League took place on Monday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium as Asante Kotoko won by two goals to nil against Dansoman based Liberty Professionals.

Forward Kwame Opoku brilliantly scored all two goals for the Porcupine Warriors after the 'Kumerican Neymar' provided all two assists in the game.

The Brazilian had the chance to his first start in a game for Asante Kotoko and displayed very well with assists to all two goals which has raised the hopes of most fans of Kotoko.

The win for Kotoko has brought them to sixth position with 12 points, the same number of points with arch rivals Hearts of Oak. Hearts of Oak meanwhile have three goals superior to Kotoko, but The Porcupine Warriors have a game in hand. Liberty Professionals is also in tenth position with 10 points.

Asante Kotoko will travel to Sogakope to play WAFA at the WAFA SC Stadium on Saturday at 15:00 GMT when Liberty Professionals also takes on Ebusua Dwarfs at the Carl Reindorf Park also on Saturday and at 15:00 GMT.
