CHRISTOPHER NETTEY SHINES ON HIS BLACK STARS DEBUT

Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender, Christopher Nettey had an impressive performance on his debut game for the Senior Male National Team, Black Stars on Thursday as Ghana won 2 nil against Sudan in the African Nations Cup Qualifiers.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender, Christopher Nettey had an impressive performance on his debut game for the Senior Male National Team, Black Stars on Thursday as Ghana won 2 nil against Sudan in the African Nations Cup Qualifiers.
The talented defender had a late call up to the National Team after defenders Gideon Mensah and Harrison Afful failed to represent due to injuries. He eventually got the chance to start the game for C.K. Akonnor's side. 
Christopher displayed an impressive performance on the day. Nettey was however substituted on the 69th minute of the game when Celta Vigo's Joseph Aidoo came on for him. 
Christopher Nettey is set to miss Kotoko's first league game against Techiman Eleven Wonders on Sunday as he continue to be with the National Team on the preparation for the reverse fixture in Khartoum on Tuesday. Nettey hopes to cement a permanent position at the Black Stars after impressive displays at the National Team.
